Ryrie


Ryrie stands at 15.3hh, grey, a solid medium-type of Waler. He was born in1997 at Newhaven Station in the Northern Territory and carries the Newhaven brand. As such, he is classified as a ‘Foundation Waler’. He is registered with the WHOBAA’s studbook (Number 312).

Very little is known of Ryrie’s background. He was purchased from Lindsay McComb in July 2004, halter broken by Robert Pankhurst, and eventually arriving at our place in September 2004. Ryrie has sired seven foals, with three more on the way in the spring of 2009. All his progeny have inherited his stature and placid nature.
